History

The Marchner Ski Hut was built in 1968 and in those days a ski tow reached from the rear of the premises almost up to the tree line by the Kronplatz. Since 1988, the ski hut has been under the leadership of the Feichter Jud family.

In 1991 the ski tow gave way to a modern four-seater chairlift. At the same time the ski hut was renovated and enlarged. These structures remained standing until 2009 when the four-seater chairlift was moved and replaced by the gondola you see today. Moving the lift was the reason for the recent construction work.

The old ski hut was demolished and rebuilt next to the gondola in its current form.
